I ended up returning this. I thought it would be a good solution for me to print labels and stickers on demand and customize them with names and personal details, but the PeriPage software is not very intuitive, and (as others have pointed out) the thermal sticker paper is extraordinarily difficult to separate with your bare hands (I had to use a crafting tweezer to get a sharp, thin edge). So, not good to take with me when I travel unless I also bring the craft tool, etc. Also wanted to use this on both Android and iOS and the android app wasn't compatible with my tablet so I was facing paying another $10 for a print service app (which actually performed better and had more options for changing print quality even in the free version of the app than the iOS version made by PeriPage). I was also disappointed that the sticker paper print quality was worse than the normal thermal paper (lighter transfer, edges not as sharp). I think this is best for people who want to print using the normal thermal paper options or label-cut sticker paper (not the solid sticker paper). PROS: I did enjoy the quality of the black and white printing... if I had line art, it looked great, and even printing photos did fairly well, especially with the third-party print service app that offered additional modes for printing that let me pick the best looking transfer. It's small and well made, very compact for travel, and the paper is easy to load and feed. I was surprised at how quickly it produced the labels. Would be GREAT if all I needed was a receipt printer on the road, and in fact the amount of paper provided was quite generous, I just wanted it for other purposes so it wasn't a good fit for me.Bought for my sister and she loves itIt's cute! However, I wanted it mainly to use to create stickers, which turned into a bit of a nightmare, as the sticker roll appears to be rolled the wrong way onto the spool for it to print on the white side if you follow instructions on how to load the paper. I wasted a whole roll until I figured out to put it in the other way round from searching on internet for help. This is not made clear in the instructions at all & on first attempt at loading the roll the opposite way, it still didn’t print, but after taking out & putting back in a few times I got it to work. When I eventually got what I wanted printed on the sticker paper, I found it impossible to get the backing paper off & have nearly wasted another full roll, as trying to get the backing paper off ruins what you’ve printed! This is a real shame as the printer itself is pretty good gor the money. It prints fine on the normal paper, but if you are wanting to use the sticker roll, beware.This was one of the best recommendations I have ever had so easy to use and ended up being the best Christmas present my daughter got highly recommend for the teenager in your life that loves putting up picsCute little thing, seemed to work well. the extra roll of paper has a very tiny middle space and the rod does not go inside but I just put the roll into the printer and it seems to be working fine. but it may not be once the roll gets thinner and more room for it to move about.. will find out I guess!it lasted less than 15 days and I used it less than 10 times! Ridiculous! I want my money back asap! I bought it to use in my work and now I'm in the worstTried to make some label prints/stickers for the kid's birthday party, but couldn't make a single sticker.I would like to return the same.
