I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has weepy eyes. His fur is soft and silky, so it is easy to wipe away any eye gunk that gets in the fur around his eyes. We recently adopted a Cavapoo, and she has thicker, curly fur. She has eye drainage too, although not as bad, but the gunk get stuck in her curly fur and doesn't wipe off easily, like it does with my Cavalier. I really have to rub and wipe to get the eye gunk out of the fur around her yes. She HATES it when I do that and is not very cooperative. I saw these combs and decided to try them. They work amazing. A couple of swipes through her fur with one of these combs and they remove all the gunk stuck in her fur. She is much more cooperative, because it is faster, and much happier with me when I use the combs instead of eye wipes. Well worth the money and I highly recommend.
